Vacation Texas Style

We visited the Robison family for a quick weekend vacation and had big vacation fun =) Angie made great food for us all weekend and it was wonderful to of course relive our Italy trip with them. The girls are growing up so sweet and it's wonderful to let our kids get to play together. Arabella and Kaewyn are good friends for our kids and Bella and Syd are about the same age, so that's good to figure out what's normal for the age and what is just our kids' personality! But dress up was the big winner for the girls all weekend and outside playing in sprinkler was also nice as it was HOT down there. Sydney was obsessed with a little umbrella and the blue sleeping beauty gown. She still talks about it!

summer play time

we have stray neighborhood cats that moved in under our house. They have provided hours of entertainment for the children.....until they got fleas. The cats not the kids. So we moved to just petting and not picking them up. So their creative minds decided if you hook 2 helmets together and carry/swing them in the hanging one, then that would be a good compromise. The kittens have since moved out from underneath our house. Any guesses why? But they are still around in the area so we see them a lot and it always causes great excitement with the children (and Tobie). When it's too hot to play outside we read books, play games, watch tv, yell at each other, fight, and the ever popular,..... Nintendo DS

carnival and Dora

Neighborhood carnivals are lots of fun in the summer, especially really small ones. The kids kept playing games over and over and didn't have to wait in lines very often. They love bounce houses of course, as any self respecting child would, but when it comes to a giant Dora, Sydney is only a fan on television. It does NOT extend to personal meet and greets

Isabelle's 1st grade program

Here are a couple of pictures of Isabelle's music program from the last week of school. The video is much more entertaining I'm sure, than just pictures, but here they are.
