Miss Laura took pity on this lonely midwester and came to visit me.  How I needed her visit!!!!  She braved my flu ish children and watched a lot of TV with me to pass the time of sick kids being stuck at home.  But time with her was great no matter what we did, and just being in the same room and hearing her laugh was sweet for my soul.  I love you Laura!!!!

Gideon's birthday

For those of you that can't tell, this is Spyro on the cake, a character from Skylanders, the awesome Xbox game that the kids love

Thank you Grandma Margaret for the halloween outfit in the making =)  The helmet speaks phrases as well as the light saber lighting up and making fighting noises.  VERY cool

Piper shared the day with us, so we took her with us when we went to Ihop for his birthday dinner and went to watch Hotel Transylvania (a very boyish movie)
