Zoo Day

Well, in the 100 degree scorching heat, I decided to take the kids to the zoo. It was pretty fun actually. We only stayed an hour, which is what I expected. We looked at the monkeys then got on the tram and was able to ride around the rest of the zoo. We got back off at the penguins. We saw them, the fish, flamingos and then out the door. The kids loved it and were all beat red by the time we got back to the car. Of course there was a terrible break down when we got in the car and they saw the water (which we took with us and they had been drinking). Once liquified and air conditioned, they settled down so we went to a McD's with a play area. They just love those things and so do I. It is nice to let them play in the air conditioning!!!
