Laundry Room Redo

These are the redo pictures.  The first pictures are the oficial before pictures.  This all started when our washer and dryer died a little bit.  They worked part time, then not so much, then chose to retire fully.  Sooooo, we are springing for front loaders so that Ryan can put in a counter over the top of them for extra storage.  And while we're at it, we might as well paint the walls, and then you may as well replace the floors right?  Apparently Ryan has been planning on the for a long time, but just didn't let me in on it =)  so this is the first stage, tearing out the floor laminate, then scraping off the leftover adhesive  by pouring boiling water over towels and using putty knives to scrape it up inch by inch.  I told Ryan I felt like David and Carrie!  Always remodeling and improving something those two!

the garden begins

here is our garden that we started.  Still haven't planted anything yet, but we put a lot of effort into this, so we hope that it gives us great results

Isabelle's teeth

Isabelle has lost 2 teeth in the last week or so.  They are both on the bottom and so now she has that funny stereotyped whistle.  She always pulls them out herself.  She doesn't want our help, but she works on them pretty hard once she decides they need to come out

Beautiful Things

Here is my newest painting that I started like 8 months ago.  I told Ryan if he wants me to stop obsessing over Italy then he'll have to take me someplace new
He asked me on a date today, came home early and rang the front door with movie tickets inside of these beautiful flowers!  It was very sweet and romantic.  We are going to Old Chicago for dinner which we've never been to and he's already planned what we'll get for dinner.  It's a romantic date with 3 kids in tow so we'll be seeing the Muppets!  =)  But I love Amy Adams so it will be wonderful anyway b/c of my sweetheart snuggled up next to me.

Isa's new do

Here is Isabelle's new haircut. She cut off almost as much hair as I did. I think her ponytails to donate are about 10 or 11 inches and mine was 14. Crazy! She wanted to get her hair cut like mine. It's a little bit different, but same general idea. I'll accept the imitation for the short time in her life that she finds me beautiful and stylish =) I'm sure that will end in a few short years! Audrey, the lady I babysit for, is the one that cut Isa's hair.
