Branson

Here are some pictures from my quick trip to see Laura in Branson. Laura and I, Mary holding a crying Sydney, and if you couldn't tell, that is Isabelle and Gideon ON A JET SKI!!!!! Wow I have gotten trusting. Also they loved swimming in the lake, thanks to Laura and Matt who took them in.

Visiting Waddle Grandparents

Well, we took some time last week (maybe two weeks ago) to go and visit the grandparents. We had such a good time and I really really love them so much. It is great to have spry grandparents that jump off of swingsets, listen to rock and roll, and watch LA Ink!!! They just make me smile. Here are a few pics from the weekend that we got.
Sydney insisted on giving people chalk pedicures while we were there, so we had lovely pink toes during our visit.

Grandpa above is working the puzzle with the kids. Best thing is that when the kids left the table, Gpa continued to do the puzzle all by himself.
Grandma playing with Syd. What a great memory. (Grandma, are those the sunglasses you had when I was that young??? They look really familiar for some reason!)

Sorry we haven't been posting at all. We have been moving and just got internet today again. So, we will start back up here soon. I still have to get pics downloaded and such, but need a good brother to help me figure out how to network my computer and create passwords and share information - etc., but with all the family a-twitter over the expecting couple, who knows when I will get a chance to snag him for a half hour to help me out. :)

The Move

Well, we have moved and are settling in for those of you who do not know. We can't find some of our computer cords, so no pictures yet. I really have been meaning to send an email out with details, but just can't find the time to do much more than a simple post on the blog. The house is great and we are just making do for a while. What that means is we don't have a trash can, a dustpan, bowls, silverwear - those are the main 4 we need that we don't have at the moment. It is funny becuase we unpack a box and instantly start filling it up with trash as our "new" trash can.

More to come later.

Bible class & New house

The first two pictures here are of WNBC (Wed. night bible class), which is our church's version of VBS. Instead of a week, it lasts all summer, but only on Wednesdays. Here they were playing a game similar to Duck, Duck, Goose. Eon is in the top picture and Isa is in the bottom (she is in the top one too actually)
The new house (Bolin) is still be worked on as you read this. They have to finish up the tiling, grouting, carpet clean up, installing light fixtures, door, door knobs, etc!!! It was supposed to be done last Wednesday, then Friday, now who knows. I said all along it would be about this Friday coming up before we would be able to move, and it looks like I may be close. Who know what will happen with the inspection though. Both the pictures are off the resident rooms. The top one looks out to the hall by the dining room and out the front door (on the left of the pic). The bottom one is back by the laundry room.

Leann and I are getting more and more excited to move. Mainly, we just want to get it over with and get settled in. We have a lot of stuff to pack up and try to get over there in a short week (which we will probably be off). We are hoping we can get it done in a couple days or so. In the new house, there are 7 bedrooms so that each girl has their own room. Then there is a kitchen, living room, dining room, and large family room. For our side of the house, we have an office, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and even a living room. That is what I am most excited about is being able to have a place that just our kids and ours besides the bedroom. We will keep you posted when we know more of what will be happening.

4th of July

Here are our 4th pictures. We did some fireworks in our front yard on the driveway. Sydney wasn't all to impressed with them but warmed up enough to the idea that she allowed me to hold her and do a sparkler (pic 2).
The next day we we went to the celebration in Goddard to watch the fireworks there. The first picture is for you Grandma's. This is her face for "I want to drink your soda and if you don't let me, I will make even a worse face than this one!" The other two were just some pics I got from the show. We had a blast and spent time with the Mary and Richard, the kids, and the new house parents here on campus.

Speaking of house parents, my next post will be some pictures of the new house. It still isn't finished and we are hoping sometime this week that it will be ready.
