Sydney's birthday

Sydney got her butterfly dream lite she really wanted grom grandma diane

She totalled $10 from cards, which will go towards finding a blue guitar like kiki has from the fresh beat band (her favorite show and one that I admit to enjoying with her, in moderation)

This is a whole pile of polly pocket toys which she got from Grandma margaret and then some people at church gave us theirs too, so polly pockets is a daily game now

the picture doesn't do it justice of course, but this cake is a blue guitar like kiki and we got her a fresh beat band book with activities and stickers.  We didn't do much, but she turned 5 nonetheless

Happy Halloween!  this is sydney's new trick she likes to do to "build her muscles".  She started this halloween week as tinkerbelle, then tinkerbelle angel, then ended as an angel.

 these glasses were a big hit from the Kronewitters.  Thank you for the surprise package!  The kids tried to scare Daddy with them when he came home from work, but that's easier said than done.  They gave it a good effort though.  

This was the final product for Halloween night.  Gideon was Peter from the bible, but throughout the night he became Paul, then the crippled man with out the staff, then somebody thought he looked like a jedi night so that's what he finished out the night as.  Steady Isabelle was a black cat start to finish.  =)

And this may be hard to believe, but here's the picture to prove it.  While trick or treating a black cat ran across the street toward us meowing and followed us all the way home!  When we opened the door to give out candy to trick or treaters it RAN IN OUR HOUSE!  crazy.  The kids were of course all excited.  Then this morning I went out to water our lawn and IT WAS STILL THERE!  He followed me around meowing and rubbing on my legs.  I may or may not have petted him, but he's gone now so we'll see if he comes back.

 This, I have no idea why my daughter decided to dress this way, but there you go.  A look into the fashion wave of the future.  Yikes!

 This was the excellent garage sale find we discovered last weekend.  All three of the kids are loving to play school with it.  Notice sydney is again in her leotard, plus a swimsuit top that she thinks is pretty and puts on top of ANYTHING she's wearing.

 And this is the result of wearing only a leotard and swimsuit top on a cold morning. 

 I don't think I posted this picture.  It cracked me up b/c one of the gymnastics teachers wanted her to try to do a cartwheel, which she said she couldn't do and didn't want to try.  This is what she did until she was allowed to move on to another station.  Not looking good for teenagerhood!
