first day of riding the bus to school

Both of the kids loved riding the bus and were very excited to do it. Sydney cried like crazy after Gideon left b/c she was going to miss him and she was so sad he had to go to school, etc. Very sweet. It was also hat day

Isabelle was just relaxing waiting for the bus in the morning. Yes, she is laying in the driveway waiting. Let's hope this enthusiasm lasts through high school

Here are some empty boring pictures of our house when we first started moving in. Not too impressive, I know. But it gets better! The first picture is the basement room, the master bedroom, the bathroom that's attatched to the master, and my closet door is open covering the door to the toilet room, then the kitchen/dining room combo and you can see the pantry laundry room off to the side, then the living room lastly

Here are the two babies that i babysit, Ruby and Laila, and then pictures from the baby shower i just threw for my friend Jenny. It was a vintage baby shower (why not something easy, like frogs or something?!) I made a rose ball out of streamers and hot glued it onto a styrofoam ball. It took HOURS so I told her I'd hang it in the girls' room if she wasn't going to use it. Her mother in law made a diaper cake, friends made cupcakes and another the ducky punch. It was really fun how it all turned out, but I'm very glad it's over!

for those of you with weak stomachs, WARNING. There are pictures of Isabelle's tooth before and after THE YANK (which was really more of a gentle nudge and the thing fell out). Also Gideon with his turtle that he caught fishing with Grandpa this summer. One week from today and we move!!!
